My breast milk is a little bit not nice (lighthearted)

I expressed some milk this morning as I was going out without my baby today. As it happened, I didn't end up going out, so rather than waste the milk after all that expressing, I sneaked it into my 2.5 year old DDs cup for her bedtime milk drink. She said "mummy I don't like this milk, it's a little bit not nice" !!!!!! oh well...

Ha! I gave my 3 yo a little bit of ebm recently (he only weaned at 2.4 and I think he remembers bfing) and he didn't like it either

Weird isn't it, I thought they would like the sweetness! Anyway, the baby likes it so that's all good :-)

Lol that's the politest way I've ever heard of saying you don't like something, so cute!

NoIamAngelaHernandez · 08/02/2014 20:24

Mine tasted yuk! Like goat's milk.

DCs seemed to like it well enough though!

Pennypig · 08/02/2014 20:26

Everything is "a little bit" Geordie. When she's been upset and stops crying, she says she's a little bit fine. I must write some of these things down to tell her when she's older!!

Goats milk? That's interesting. Had you been eating goat I wonder?? :-)

DD1 self weaned weeks before DD2 was born. She asked to feed when DD2 came home, took one suck and walked away gagging and retching! I felt really good at that point!

i tried to use up some excess ebm in dps coffee once. He spat it out, and when i tasted ir, i knew why.

Ha ha, it's a good job our babies aren't that fussy isn't it!!

I tried to put some in the cats dish, thought better than just chucking it away, they both turned their noses up though and wouldn't go near it. I felt quite offended!

Pennypig · 08/02/2014 20:34

How surprising missmagnum, I would have thought the cats would enjoy the sweetness,I did try mine once and it just tasted like sugary milk. Oh well, we're all learning here that it seems only babies (human!) like breast milk!

Mad that us humans will drink another species' drink, but we won't drink our own unless we're babies!

Pennypig · 08/02/2014 21:22

True miss ratty!
