I read this book Baby Wisdom and while ago which was kind of anthropological. I really liked a part which talked about an interview with a woman from a fairly primitive and isolated tribe who was told that men in western societies actually suck on the nipples as part of the sexual act and the response of the woman (obviously translated) was "What! You mean they behave like babies?" (ewww how unmasculine and what a turn off).

It really helped me come to terms with the role of my breasts and my poor DH hasn't got near them in over a year now. Having said that I talked to my DH about dropping a feed today (I still do 3 at 13mths) and he was a little horrified as he got a good look at how DS reacts if I am not there to feed him after his afternoon nap.

Well I must be rather primitive because that's not far from my own reaction when I first experienced a grown man enjoying my breasts(obviously well before I ever fed a baby! ) Got to like it though, and am now a bit miffed that my dh isn't more like Mears's friend's dh...unfortunately my dh finds the milk a turn-off.

For me when feeding they are feeding things, when not feeding then they wake up again and say hello
Never got off on feeding, loved it though and found it enjoyable...
