Would other teats fit NUK's glass bottle?

Hi, did anyone try to fit the teats of other brands with NUK's glass bottle? I don't think the glass bottle is popular, but my DH and I have decided to go with the NUK's glass bottles. Just wondering whether I can buy other teats and still stick to the glass bottles in case my DS is fussy. Smile

Careful when lifting the bottle by the lid/cap, mine didn't stick tight and I forgot one day- it fell and smashed :( milk everywhere

I also found the flow is very fast and makes my wee one very windy with colic

Don't know if other teats fit though

I tried Avent ones unsuccessfully. Nuk do do latex and silicone teats though, we always found them good. More choice in a narrow neck bottle, any narrow teat will fit IME: www.binxie.com/feeding/bottles-teats-accessories/beaba-bottles-teats-soothers-accessories/beaba-gipsy-trend-250ml-glass-feeding-bottle/?gclid=CK-gn7CLqLwCFSTmwgodhiMAJg

Glass bottles are brilliant by the way, the milk heats up in seconds just standing in hot water from the tap as glass conducts rather than insulates, never understood how it was meant to work with a plastic bottle, also they look and feel really clean however old they are Smile

Hi curlywurlyllass, the teat coming with the bottle is usually with medium feeding hole. Did you try the small one? It is supposed to be designed to prevent colic.

Hi Lydialunches, thanks for the tips! I didn't know that I could heat up the milk with the hot water from tap. That would make feeding much easier. It is good to know that beaba also do the glass bottles. There are just so little choices when it comes to glass ones. I don't get why so many ppl trust the plastic bottles over the glass ones, which is obviously a safer choice.
