hi, sorry me again. my breastfed baby has had green poo today, why? she had it a while ago and hv said it was down to too much foremilk but now i feed mainly from one side as she prefers this. she is 9 weeks old btw. i dont get it at all as most feeds are from same boob. shes ok in other areas, plenty of smiles, sleeping well, alert etc.
can anyone offer any advice please
thanks

Babies get funny coloured poo sometimes.

HVs are often mad.

HTH.

PS - she's fine.

ignore it.

ds1 used to have this occasionally.it doesn't mean anything.
if it goes on for any olnger than a day or 2 then take her to the docs because it can be a sign of an upset tummy but just for a day it's not a problem.

ds had green poo regularly (he was mixed fed for his first month, but after that exclusively breastfed until 6.5 months) and he was and is fine. Don't worry

Don't worry it's totally normal babies have some really dodgy poo colours she sounds fine and very happy to me!
