Please help with fussy baby!

DS is 7 weeks old. Every single night at around 10 he wants a feed but I'll put him on the boob and he'll take it for a few seconds then scream to get off. He then screams to get back on. Every. Single. Night. I have no idea why.

I am by no means an expert, but my dd has bouts of doing this. What I found works is letting her suckle my finger first which seems to calm her and then when she pops herself off my finger, I latch her onto my boob. That way she stays latched for a good portion of time without the disgruntled squawking.

It's the witching hour. Or 6 in the case of my daughter, my son does it for approx 3 hours.
