Hi all
I've got a size 38K boobs and I'm ebf my 4 month old. I've always had to hold my boob upwards as my nipples point downwards whilst feeding. Has anybody ever found a bra that will point you nipples outwards whilst feeding?
I currently have a Royce bra which is a perfect fit I'm tempted to cut a hole around the nipple and cover with another piece of fabric.
I've done so much research but can't find any bras like it.
Any recommendations GREATLY received xxx

Hi! Not much help but wanted to salute you! Mine are only DD and I struggle so I'm well impressed with you!

My nipples point south too and embarrassingly, all I am still wearing is mothercare night time nursing bras! When I've got one of this on plus a breastfeeding best and a breast pad, the breast pad folded along with the tightish vest seem to hold my nipple in the right direction!

No help! But I'd say cut a hole and make your own! I haven't found any decent bras hence my nighttime bra situation!

Not only was that not helpful but it didn't even make sense! Sorry - typing with left hand!

Good luck :) x

anita underwire 5035
EnVie lingerie will generate a 38K (if that is truly what is needed) by taking 2 inches out of a 40J

Mine were'only' a 32hh at their biggest, but the most supportive one I found was the Anita underwired nursing bra. Beware though the cup sizes are tiny, I needed to size up a couple of sizes.

Sorry I have to say this - have you come up with your size using the new measuring technique, as demonstrated on the lovely bra intervention threads? If not, the bra will be a lot less supportive (as a lot loser) than it could otherwise be.

I have huge boobs too. A couple of times when ds was going through a growth spurt and boobs went very floppy I propped them up a bit with a rolled up Muslim underneath.

I have large boobs too. Check out hotmilk.... Both sexy, pretty and supportive

Try ample bosom.com they have some heavy duty maternity bras that worked really well for me.

Wearing a bra while feeding could encourage mastitis.

I have known mums to manage to aim their nipples using a thin silk scarf, under the boob, tied behind their neck - a sort of sling for the breast. Alternatively, some mums put a rolled-up muslin between the breast and their ribs, if you see what I mean.

If your nipple isn't against your stomach, without a bra, then it can be possible to feed using it, wherever it is.

Lolling at boob sling :)

Thanks everyone yes I know a K sized bra sounds extreme and the first thought is probably that the sizing is wrong but it is definately right I have a 38K Royce bra at present and it fits perfectly. I'm not joking when I say my boobs are literally the size of my head!!!! I have also worked for an underwear chain that sells nursing bras so I've had bra measuring training too.
Thanks for all your suggestions though. I'll try the muslin etc as the main problem is the boob falls out of LO mouth if I don't support my head sized boob LOL.

Hi Amy, sorry wasn't questioning your cup size (am a J myself) rather the under and size, as some fitting services still add on two inches to the size you actually measure at.
One thing that helped me feed was a wee towel - or face cloth, muslin - which you roll up and shove under your boob - it makes the angle of the nipple much better!
