Piles surgery and breastfeeding (tmi)

So have suffered continuously with piles since ds3 was born 5 months ago.
Dr is starting to talk about me being referred, camera up the bum job (ugh!).
I am wondering if anyone has had any type of pile surgery whilst breastfeeding?
I've got to do something, everything I've tried so far (diet, water, anusol, prescribed suppositories, witchhazel) hasn't worked and its starting to really affect me. I really don't want to stop breastfeeding though (but very thing I've read says that banding is v painful, so don't fancy getting it done without strong painkillers).
Any advice or experiences very welcome. Thankyou

No experience but didn't want to read and run.
Maybe do a bit of research into what pain relief you can take when bfing? I know paracetamol and ibuprofen are safe. If you think you'd need something that isn't going to work with bfing maybe you could build up a stash of expressed milk beforehand to then pump and dump to maintain supply during treatment.
Lactation consultants are usually good people to ask for advice on medications and bfing. There is a book that lists medications and their effects on bfing. I think it's by Dr. Hale?
