Does the brand of milk make any difference?

I am trying to introduce some formula milk to my 5mo. I'm hoping to replace the daytime feeds but continue bf first thing, evenings and overnight, in preparation for going back to work.

Dd briefly used to take a bottle of expressed milk, at about 3 months, but then started rejecting it - so I know she is not a bottle fan... So I'm currently trying different bottles, teats, sippy cups etc to see if I can get anywhere, but we are struggling.

I will carry on persevering with the drinking vessel, but I was wondering if any of the milk brands tend to go down better? I'm using the ready to drink aptimil cartons at the moment. I don't want to express again, certainly not whilst most of the milk is going down the sink Hmm

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Smile

Cow and Gate is made by the same company as Aptimel but is cheaper if that helps. I think they're all much of a muchness tbh as they're governed by such strict guidelines.

A handy tip is to use a brand that is stocked by your local convenience shop so that you can get some without too much hassle when the whole family has been ill all week and you've run out.

I had hoped they were pretty similar - one less variable to contend with! Also great advice about local availability, I would never have thought of that. Thank you both!
