Have found a few nice ones online but really want somewhere I can go try on, to check fit. Have only found my size to order from abroad. Oh and I want it to be pretty. I'm a 32G.

Sure I must be missing a fabulous company.

Thanks in advance.

Can't help regarding RL shops but I've found figleaves.com really easy for returns - freepost label in bag. And they definitely do size G and above for nursing bras.

geekaMaxima · 30/12/2013 23:06

Oh - and for pretty, try hotmilk bras!

MrsSteptoe · 30/12/2013 23:08

My recollection is that feeding bras are generally not underwired because it interferes with the flow from the milk glands. I'm sure a midwife will be along at some point if that's true, though you could probably google it. I may be wrong anyway.

Envie Lingerie do a range of nursing bras that are awesome. Jane dealt with me and was simply splendid there. She gave marvellous advice and even offered to custome shorten the back of one of the anita nursing bras for me so it fitted perfectly. I can't rate highly enough.

fwiw - i am a hideous size whilst feeding (28-30 H/J) and Envie havecome up trumps multiple times despite online contact only.

Hot milk bras aren't under wired and I find anything that is not under wired does not give enough support.

Under wired nursing bras are safe to wear as long as they fit properly.

Have looked on the envie website and all the pretty bras are non wired. Shame.

Fig leaves website next.

Thank you.

I had some lovely underwired Anita nursing bras. They were really comfortable and flattering but quite expensive and didn't affect my milk production. Purchased mine online from Figleaves. This was a few years ago though.

leedy · 31/12/2013 14:06

Anita underwires are brilliant, very comfy and supportive while actually looking like a normal bra. I've seen them on Figleaves and here:

BonaDea · 31/12/2013 14:09

Hotmilk definitely has some underwired nursing bras.

I haven't seen any on the shops tho.

coffeeandcream · 31/12/2013 14:12

Another vote for Anita nursing bras from figleaves website. Not the cheapest, but absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.

I have a rather large chest too and these are the only bras that gave me support and a nice shape.

leedy · 31/12/2013 14:12

They also last really well, I machine wash mine and they're still in perfect nick.

Bravissimo fitted me in Royce Charlotte I think -

www.bravissimo.com/m/#products/lingerie/soft-cup-bras/charlotte-soft-cup-bra/black/ro11bl/

It's not pretty, but offers enough support for my 34j boobs (pre preg 32g). It's not wired and looks fine with clothes over the top. I was really worried about flattering bras but I'm happy with this one. It also copes well with the in between feed inflation Wink

Your right, I have found a couple of under wired Hot Milk bras but they don't do my size.

I have found 3 on eBay from Poland that are pretty, under wired and come in my size. Yeah! I will give these a go and let you all know. If no good I will order an Mania bra, but they aren't as pretty as I would like.

Thank you everyone.
