Strange taste in mouth when baby latches on...anyone else?

When DS (3weeks) latches on, I get a metallic taste in my mouth, a bit like blood. Has anyone else ever had this?!!

You know that actually rings a bell with me, I would always make sure I had a drink to hand when feeding.

I used to feel a mild wave of nausea sometimes, it was really strange. I looked it up and it is a thing, maybe yours is related?

I used to get a weird breathless feeling when I got a let-down. Funny thing, feeding!

Yes kind of. I always used to be instantly thirsty as soon as ds latched on.
