Milk supply drop after food poisoning - starting to panic!

Well just that really! My LO is 4.5mo and is ebf. I am just recovering from a fairly severe bout of food poisoning/tummy bug and my appetite is zero :( My milk just seems non-existent today and I'm starting to panic.

Can anyone help?! Has anyone had this before? Or do you have any tips on how to boost supply ASAP? Argh, it's one thing after the other with me and I'm starting to think I'm not very good at all this :( my body is giving up on me (just had breast abscess).

Please help if you can. Thx.

Poor you! It's miserable being ill and trying to look after and feed a baby too.

I just had a nasty virus and barely ate anything for a week, my 5.5 mo is also ebf. I noticed that my milk supply seemed to go down too (boobs felt empty) but I kept feeding dd as usual and now it seems to be getting back to normal.

Keep drinking as much as you can, being a bit dehydrated seemed to affect my milk rather than not eating as much. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for your msg yzma. Seems bit better today, but looking forward to my appetite coming back. Amazing how draining bf can be.
