Any advice on how to get my little boy to take a dummy? He loves to comfort suck which is fine but means when he's tired while I'm out ( for example doing shopping or meeting friends, school run etc) he cries constantly & won't/can't get off to sleep! Cue upset overtired baby, frazzled Mummy & a scathing looks/unwanted advice etc from Joe Public!!
HELP!!

My 13wo has never taken a dummy. They make her gag. I spent lots on different types but she hated them all. I've given up now.

The sling is good for sleeping in, even with a sucky baby.

We got dd to take a dummy a bit earlier but it made her gag loads at first. We didn't force it on her just offered it and eventually she took it my nipples say thank god
