Anyone got experience of bf support in Basildon hospital?

Is it any good? I know they're Baby Friendly but not sure how much that means

They are really good. They work with a group called little angels (I think that's their name)

They come and see you on the ward to see if you need any support and also offer to see you at home as well if you feel you need it. They also phone every month or so to see how your getting on and if you need any help.

The staff are also brilliant and will make sure your curtains are shut if you want and won't disturb you for checks blood pressure etc if you are bf

That's good to hear, don't want to go into detail but I just wanted to be reassured that the support there is good.

There is a wealth of experience from the healthcare assistants and midwives within the hospital and the community. If you have particular concerns or questions then there are 2 Specialist Midwives for Infant Feeding - why not join them on Facebook/Twitter or download their free App "FeedingTogether" (iPhones/pad & android). Just a small pointer for "yourallmyfavourite" The Little Angels now known as FAB no longer make visits to the hospital wards but are still community support
