Moving onto cow's milk at 12 months

Not sure if this has been covered off elsewhere so apols if so.

I'm planning to move my DS onto cows milk at 12 months, but wondered those who did so... Did you carry on using bottles (I currently use Dr Browns) or did you use a beaker/sippy cup?

Thanks

You're supposed to phase out bottles at 1 year old.

DD is nearly 1, currently she has 3 bottles a day. When she drops to 2 I plan on giving her morning milk in a sippy cup and keep the bottle for bedtime feed and then after a few months change that to the sippy cup too. DD is still not great with the sippy cup so whilst she's still meant to have 20fl oz of formula I'll stay with the bottles to make sure she get the right amount.

Dd was one last week. we have moved on to cows milk but she is still using her bottle at the moment.. We thought that getting used to cows milk and a beaker at the same time was a bit much all at once! We plan to move on to beakers in the next month or so.

Both our DC enjoyed using their cups for water while weaning so we just started gradually offering cups of milk so that breastfeeds were gradually phased out

Thanks all! Think we'll start by trying half a feed in a sippy cup and take it from there.
