Anyone know if relux can suddenly develop in a five-mo? He is waking screaming every 20-45 minutes and I am beside myself.

It's more likely to be a chronically overtired baby if he has been fine before, overtiredness causes very frequent wakings.

How are his naps?

OhGood · 22/11/2013 20:51

had 3 by 3 hours today. I drove round in the car, trying to keep him asleep as long as poss

Could it be teething? Any temperature - thinking ear infection?

LaurenLaverne · 22/11/2013 21:22

My DS did this for a few nights around 5 months. It turned out to be 4 teeth coming through at the same time! It seemed to bother him much more at night, and he still woke every half hour even after calpol. It was horrible as he really seemed in a lot of pain, but it was only 3 or 4 nights in the end. Hope your DS feels better soon.

Thank you all so much. I feel like he has regressed to a newborn, and has been steadily getting worse. Have given up now and he is sleeping on DH's chest, which will heopfully mean I get a few hours. Thank GOD DH is so supportive.

No ear infection, no temp - took him to doc this morning.

Lauren hope it's similar thing. Driving myself crazy speculating.
