Would my HV help me try to get bf ds to take a bottle,

He is 11 weeks and I have to do some KIT days soon to keep my business afloat while I'm on mat leave.
Would it be ok to ask my HV? Or not?
She visited last at 6wks and won't again till 6mo. But said I could call with any concerns. But is this serious enough? I don't know anything about bottle feeding so might be clumsily making it all worse.

This would def be part of her job but she might ask you to visit the clinic. But yes it's an important issue! She might help you consider all options.

Definitely ask! Not all HVs are bad, they get such a bad press on MN but my HV would have helped with something like this.

Do call one of the breastfeeding helplines or La Leche League as well.
