If your periods come back while you're breastfeeding, can they stop again?

DD is 12 months, still feeding 3-5 times a day. My periods came back 3 months ago with what seemed like a regular 28 day cycle, but this month I'm 6 days late. I have POASed, and it was negative (thank God).

Is it possible that I've stopped ovulating again because of the feeding?

Yes it is possible.
But are you using contraception? because it is also possible that you are pregnant but not getting a BFP yet.

Yes, we're using condoms. DD was a Happy Accident Blush so we're very careful these days! I took a test today just to set my mind to rest.

I doubt the breastfeeding is stopping ovulation if your DD is 12 months. But your cycle may not be settled yet.
Condoms aren't the most reliable form of contraception, though, be warned!

agree re condoms. They are great, but would have no brother and no niece if they were more effectiveGrin
I would suggest using another method in addition if avoiding pregnancy is vital

Actually, the first few cycles normally you don't ovulate (but don't count on that, obviously!). It's normal for your cycle to be a bit all over the place, or for breastfeeding to disrupt it, particularly if in the last month or so, your DD has gone through a phase of feeding more, particularly at night.
