Two years and still no periods???

I've been bfing dd for 2 years and still haven't got my periods back. Is this usual? She does bf a lot, she's an addict LOL.

I am starting to get really broody for a second, and wanted to have them close together.

I would ask my gynae, but he doesn't speak English...so it's harder. Wondered if anyone here had had the same experience and is there anything I can do to encourage old Aunt Flo to make a return appearance?

Sorry no experience BUT I am sure that sometimes you don't get af while bf..?? I know while bf dd I didn't get af until I stopped around 6 months.

You can still get pregnant though..only issue would be working out your due date BUT a dating scan would help. I wouldn't see it as a problem BUT then again i'm not a gynae....!!!

Hi footprint, I didn't get af until I had almost stopped feeding dd at nearly 12months. (one feed every day or two). I stopped so I could start ttc. There's a few threads on the conception topic with people in the same position, might be useful for you to have a look. Do you feed at night? Apparently thats the big one that prevents ovulation.
