Question about drinking alcohol and bf - LLL blog on wet nursing

Found this on LLL about wet nursing:

lllgbevents.blogspot.co.uk/2011/01/lll-gb-statement-on-milk-sharing.html

About half way down it gives recommendations re women nursing another woman's baby:

'She should not drink alcohol, or consume large amounts of caffeinated or artificially sweetened beverages'

I know there have been many discussions about drinking alcohol and bf, and thought that drinking small amounts is ok. Why would this be different for wet nursing?

Just interested really, I'm not wet nursing, just feeding my 7 mo and enjoy a small wine now and again! Ditto coffee!

I read a post on Analytical Armadillo's FB page today about alcohol consumption and BFing.
I think the amount of alcohol coming through within an hour of drinking was the equivalent of one unit diluted in 70 gallons. After 2 hours, there is no alcohol present at all.
Even when drinking three drinks, there was found to be very little alcohol actually getting through to the milk supply.
I can't see why the rules for wet nursing should be any different to feeding your own baby, it doesn't really make sense.

I bf and drink 2 glasses of wine most nights. But my baby is my baby iyswim. If someone else was feeding him (esp if being paid!) I would not expect or want them to drink.
