Really worried about DD starting nursery next week

DD will be 11 m when she starts nursery in a week or so. Whilst she's never eaten a huge amount, she was sick a week ago, and since really eats nothing. She's still having 6 BF a day and feeds over night too. She has never taken a bottle and doesn't really drink milk from any kind of cup (have tried loads, tried other people giving it to her, nothing).

What can I do to try and get her eating enough so that she can last between 6:30am and 5:30 pm?

Has anyone else other than you spent a period of time with her? I'd suggest that this weekend your partner/mum/close friend and see how she gets on. It could be that she feeds because you are there but without you will eat and drink more. She will be fine with someone she knows for 4-5 hours and this could help reassure you?

Yeah, she was fine a month or so ago being left with her dad for 6 hours or so. I'm just worried because she's been really put back by this illness she's had.

I'm actually going into work for a couple of hours tmorrow, so I guess we'll see how she gets on.
