Has anyone else had this problem? My dd who is 9 months old does not drink water! I have been trying for many many months, tried different beakers etc, diff juices etc and she still won't take it.
She has 3 bottles a day which she drinks fine and she wee's and poo's fine.
Anyone else had this? And how did they overcome this problem?
Thanks

Sorry, Tag, why is it a problem?

It's not worth struggling over. She'll take water eventually, but is less likely to take it with conntinued 'persuasion' :) Just leave a beaker on her tray and leave her to it, removing it with no comment at all if she leaves it alone.

It's good to offer water with meals but it's not necessary in most cases as long as they're getting enough milk.

2 out of 3 of my DC have not wanted to drink water. One is four now and loves drinking it. The other is only 8 months and I've no doubt he'll drink it eventually.

Don't fret, just keep offering it.
