How long after stopping breastfeeding did you stop producing milk?

I stopped feeding my 7 mth DD two weeks ago and I can still produce milk. I'm just wondering what were your experiences on when that stopped. We had cut down to two small feeds (one morning and one evening) for a couple of weeks before stopping altogether. I'm not engorged but still have some breast tenderness.

I stopped feeding 6 months ago. Squeezed my nipple in the shower this morning purely out of curiosity and I'm afraid to say, produced The White Stuff

Thanks buffersandbumpers! Okay, I guess I have a bit further to go then! I have breastfed before with DC2 and DC3 but cannot remember this stage going on for very long, well longer than a week anyway. Each experience is different (if that's not something we learn with pregnancy and children!).
