Can anyone please tell me if I have to heat the breast milk if I want to add some rice? I'd like to just add a bit to the room temp milk in order to fill by ds up a bit. Any help with the ratio would be great too! Thank you

I don't see why you'd have to heat the bm. But don't expect it to fill him up, milk is much more calorific and nutritious than baby rice and he'll still get most of his nutrition from milk for a long time even if he's ready to start other food. How old is he?

^^ As Celtic says, plus breast milk is apparently digest din a couple of hours because it is such good stuff for the baby with very little waste or stuff that can't be used (when compared to food or formula).

I found the length of time my LO sleeps has improved massively now we added real food (i.e. after 6 months). She wasn't a big fan of baby rice but quickly progressed through fruit and veg and onto tzatziki, Houmous, Peppers, Pita, toast etc.

She has improved from every 2 hours (really, every two hours night and day?) to sleeping from mid eve (7 or 8pm) till morning (usually 6.15am or so, if she wakes any earlier I cuddle and put back down as anything before 6am is now deemed Unreasonable in my house) then has some boob and joins me in the big bed and happily drifts back off at about 7am till 9am.

Age 8m now, and managed to go from basically no sleep to sleeping through in just a week or so.

In other words, there is light at the end of the tunnel (if your tunnel is currently feeling a bit long)
