Thrush making baby v fussy

HV diagnosed thrush on Friday and we started meds yest. Ds is 4 weeks.

I'm struggling to stop him just swallowing the stuff for starters. But he's also getting more fussy on the boob and seems to prefer taking the bottle.

Is this to be expected and will he settle once thrush has past? HV said that he shouldn't be uncomfortable. But seeing his white tongue and his behaviour when bfing I'm not co convinced?

Just giving him 90ml of formula when he's most fussy. But wondering if I ought to start expressing for a bit?
