Ridiculous I know but I just had a little cry because ds 1, has dropped his bedtime feed. He has still fed numerous times throughout the day and is feeding now in fact so I don't know why I am so stupidly emotional.

He has lost interest in his going to bed feed over a few weeks so I decided tonight he could try cows milk instead but he wasn't particually interested in that either.

He woke up just now and I offered cows milk again which he refused so he is having mums milk, obviously no intentions of weaning completely.

Has anyone else been over emotional as breast feeding ends or baby begins to wean theirself?

yep, I think something so special is a little sad as it stops... but lots of lovely big boy things will fill that space!

I am currently findning that DD aged 5 loves hearing about being breastfed and how she was born etc and its lovely cuddling hher up and chatting all about it :)

That sounds lovely mumble.

It's been quite a journey for us so your right it will be sad to end it, he has been feeding with a vengance this morning so it seeks to just be the bedtime feed he's not bothered about.
