Broken Tommee Tippee Steriliser?

I happened to be in the kitchen while 10 month old ds's bottles were sterilising, and I noticed the steriliser went off after 5 minutes or so. Is this right? I'm sure it used to be on for longer.

Sterilising cycle is 5 minutes
