Seriously, moondog? He's like (apparently) the Most Famous BF person ever. Or something. He invented breastfeeding! (ok, not breastfeeding, but some special hold or something)

HC, a mate is having him round for a BBQ. She's invited me, as a fellow Canuck. (JN is Canadian, not my mate.)

Dh spent a lot of time in Canada on Young Farmer things.
He had a penpal (ages before I knew him,when he was about 19)
He told me how he was planning to stay with her 'but when I arrived at the airport,her boyfriend met me and told me she was out of town and drove me to a motel.'

Then he showed me the pictures she had been sending him-perched coyly on kitchen worktop in various states of undress.

Poor lad had never put two and two together until I put hiom straight.

I would love to have heard massive Cnadian row between penpal and boyfriend.

Hmm, sounds like an internet romance before the internet.

Did your DH really not have any suspicions there? It seems half the guys that age spend all their time thinking everything is about sex, and the other half need to be hit on the head with a frying pan before they work it out.

And what on earth did he think had happened, before you straightened him out? Did he think she'd really gone out of town?

Ah, of course, sorry. No, I'm not a BF professional at all, I just have loads of mates who are. Oh, and I organise NCT antenatal courses at the moment.

I don't know why I'm being twitchy, the friend whose BBQ it is is the least twitchy person ever, and very much public anyway.

I am absolutely and totally not famous irl.
