Feeding more at night than day at 6 months

From birth whenever my DS woke at night I'd feed him back to sleep, and been breast feeding on demand during the day. However he's still waking at night every 2 hours for a feed, and the past few nights have been every hour around the early hours from about 3 til 6/7am when he wakes up. He's perfectly happy but consequently he's not very hungry in the morning until about 11/12. I don't know what else to do to get him back to sleep at night if I don't feed him. Am I making a rod for my back by letting him do this? In a few months I'll be back at work and while it's probably handy for him to not need much milk in the day while he's away from me, I think I'll be needing a bit more sleep by then Blush It'll probably all change again by then anyway!
