Pinching pain towards end of feed?

I've been breastfeeding my 3.5 week old baby and suddenly the last few times I've fed on the right side, near the end of the feed it feels like he is sucking on a straw which is pinching my breast deep inside. It's the only way I can describe it!

It becomes too painful with each suck to continue, so I break the latch and offer the left side which is fine.

I am always fine again the next time I use the right hand side again, until near the end of the feed when the pinching stars again, getting progressively worse and making me break the seal again.

It feels like I've run out of milk or something, and was wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows what on earth it is and what I am supposed to do about it?

If he is going thro a growth spurt could be him emptying the breast, my LO used to sort of sook it to the very end then pop off. Once supply was established at around eight weeks this stopped as usually boobs were not completely emptied each time.

Emptied is exactly how it feels. Did this happen to you as well? Im interested in how long it lasted with each growth spurt.

Strange how it's always the same side, had no idea I was that mismatched!
