Hi DS's top front teeth are cutting through. It has been about two weeks. But since last Saturday, he refuses to take bottle. Sometimes, he seemed really hungry and wanted to have the milk, but once he's on the teat for less than a minute, he spit it out and pushed the bottle away. It now develops to a stage he doesn't want even a drop from the bottle.
We've been trying to mix the formula with his solid food and dream feed him at night. All in all, like yesterday, we managed to get him have about 350ml of formula plus some fruits. He never takes cup either.
He vomited twice on Monday, but more looked like not digesting well, instead of tummy flu - as he didn't vomit at all since. We saw the doctor, she said it is probably tummy virus and it shall pass within a few days. But we don't think so, as he stopped vomiting and no diarrhea (poos 3-4 times a day but all hard or just slightly soft).
We tried Calpol yesterday. After about an hour, he took the bottle but only half of it.
My question is, is this just teething? If it's teething caused, how long this can last? Apart from what we've tried, is there anything else we could do?
Many thanks...
