DD2 only feeds for about ten mins at a time and rarely takes the second side. After ten mins she pulls off sometimes grimaces doesn't want to go back on, she is rarely milky drunk (do they still get milky drunk at this age?)
She has been treated for reflux before but seems ok now, sleeps and plays on back happily enough.
Also she only ever sleeps for 40 mins at a time in the day. I don't know if this is connected to the feeding or her inability to self soothe so caqn't get past one sleep cycle.
I feel like I am always trying to feed her and sometimes its a physical fight.
She is otherwise well, lots of wet nappies, around 3/4 poos a day (always been green but she her dribble is like a tap with teething so put it down to that).
Do I have a feeding problem or is this normal? (DD1 took an age to feed)

My dd only ever fed for 10 minutes, it sounds normal. Is there anything about her growth and development that makes you think there is a problem?

HV and GP were a bit funny about her dropping one weight centile (from just below 50th to just below 25th) but GP who did 8 week check wasn't bothered and she is now tracking that line.
She is bright, alert, having little cooing chats, incredibly strong, grabbing toys ect so that is all fine.

She sounds fine Smile. If the HCP are concerned have they suggested anything? If Lo has been checked for tongue tie?

Thanks Jilted.
DD had a posterior tongue tie done at six weeks. Still loses suction every now and again, particularly when lying down feeding in night and when not v hungry.
