Painful tingling in nipples, what could the cause be?

Its sometimes after feeding, sometimes random times.
Its very uncomfortable.

Any ideas and what could i do to prevent/sooth it?

Could be thrush, tingling and shooting pains after feeding and in between feeds. Go and see your GP, they should prescribe cream for you and gel for baby's mouth, and then tablets if that doesn't sort it.
