Stopping Breast Feeding at 1 yr old - bed time routine

Hi - feel a bit stupid asking as this is my 2nd DD, but is there anyone out there with any tips for a bed time routine once you wean off the breast?
I want to stop as DD2 is now a year old but not sure how to do it. Health Visiitor isn't much help as it's my 2nd (I should know, apparently, but have totally forgotten as DD1 is almost 5).
DD2 currently falls asleep feeding and I put her straight in her cot. this is the only BF she has, and will happily take milk from her cup.
Should DH take over bed time and give DD2 milk in a cup, until she 'forgets' about BF?
Any tips gratefully received,
Thanks

Watching with interest as I'm in a similar situation. My ds is 17 months and just has a bf at bedtime, but I'd like to stop this over the summer.

That's exactly what I did with both of mine, I just went out and DH did bedtime for a bit.

Thank you - I'm sure that's what we did with DD1. Will try this.
