Comfort formula... On to what at 1yo?

DD2 has just turned 1 and although she can tolerate cow's milk in sauces etc., she is sick when she drinks it.

Should I try her on goat's milk or something?

I want to switch her to something other than the on fort milk as she's gone right off it and its really expensive... With DD1 I just switched her to cows milk at 1yo, so am clueless.

Any advice gratefully received...

Has she been allergy tested? Might be worth doing before you switch......

Thanks Jilted- Where would I get that done?

I was in your situation last year with dd, switched to the alpro 1+ soy milk on advice of paediatrician.
Like your little one, she was sick when drinking milk but was fine with yoghurts, cheese, sauces etc.
dr said her tummy needed a bit more time before being able to tolerate milk as a drink.
Tried a few times, gradually, and at 18 months she was fine on cows milk. And she absolutely loves her milk Smile

That's good to know koala. tether I would make an appointment with your GP and ask for some testing. Allergy uk has some good online information. I think that they only recommend soya or goats milk on the advice of a Paed, so worth getting the tests done before you decide to offer alternatives Smile

Thank you both- will make an appointment with GP.
