4 month DC2 has been producing green poo for a few weeks. Had a bit.of a cold but totally fine in herself. Well apart from liking to chat for a few hours in.the middle of the night Grin . Should I worry? She's obviously gaining weight as she is almost chubbing up before my eyes though i.havent.got her weighed for ages .

My ebf baby's poo goes green when she's had a cold. Looks like pesto.

My ds had this - they really were scarily grassy-green and he didn't even have a cold. I took a few nappies to the lucky dr and he said not to worry. He stopped doing it eventually (and is now nearly 5 and v healthy) so I guess I really didn't need to worry. :)

Thanks both. Yes pesto sounds right...grim. I will get her weighed tomorrow just to check.xxx

Could it be too much fore-milk? DS's poos are green if he doesn't feed for long enough on one side before swapping. I block fed for a bit and it stopped.

Yes I thought that too sneezy but I rarely offer both sides as she seems content after one side. I bf my first eighteen months and dont remember similar

I didn't ever have it with DD (fed for 14 months) either but block feeding definitely stopped the 'pesto poo' for DS! No idea what the difference was.
