DS thrashing about on the boob - why??

DS - 14 weeks - has started really thrashing about when feeding, as if he is really frustrated or can't get milk. Any idea why? He had a bad cold but is better now. Could it be teething? Or is my supply really dwindling? Any advice/tips very gratefully received!

Ear infection?

what would the other symptoms be if he has an ear infection?

Did he feed less frequently or for shorter bursts while he was ill? Perhaps he is just needing to up milk supply again.

I remember DD had a funny phase around this age of doing exactly as you describe. It resolved quite quickly and she didn't lose any chub.

He is feeding for a few seconds then coming off then going back on again. It is as if he is really annoyed about something. Not feeding more often, just very interrupted feeds!
