DS (13 months) has his first molars coming in and I've seen the point of his canine too.

I just want to moan about how much he wants to nurse overnight for the last 6 weeks. Also, his latch is adapting and sometimes it is uncomfortable.

So grab a pew and join me in the journey of bf your teething DC.

DS's molars look much more prominent now. I've seen the tips of the canines poking through as well. He seems to be eating very little solids and I am bfing loads. I am constantly hungry and eating so much. Bad news!

Hello, my DS is 3mo and started teething (I think) and he's been waking up every 1-2h at night for the past 2 weeks (there were better nights of 3h of sleep). I'm v. tired and most of the time I'm on my own as DH is away with work a lot, which means I can't catch up on sleep during the day as I need to look after grizzly baby. Has anyone of you tried to use dummy at night, so the baby won't suckle on boobie all the time? I haven't use dummy so far as I'm against it but if using it means more sleep for me I'd use it! Please help, I need a sleep! Grin

I am on 2nd day of stopping breastfeeding, I am hardly feeing my 6 month old as we've pretty much gone onto her nutrimegm formula and she 9/10 refuses to feed off me.
I am nervous about getting an infection so am expressing bits when I am full just wondering if these amounts seem excessive as I know production is based on a supply and demand basis ( since about 3 months have been expressing about 18 oz between each feed and giving them by bottle so I know my supply is high)

So day 1 expressed between 11pm Saturday till 10pm Sunday with 2 actual feeds inbetween 9oz expressed not in 1 go, about 4 lots of 2 oz using both breast.
Is this too much ? I get very uncomfortable and worry they will get infected but am I just being soft. I really want to stop so just want some advice really.

Thank you lovelies xx

lovely - my DS is 19 weeks and he's definitely teething. Today he's started biting hard on my nipple at the end of a feed... oh the pain! My other 2 DC had their 1st tooth at 4 mo, I just can't remember how I managed with the biting. particularly bf in public! Blush Blush

My lo has a dummy sometimes during day, but not at night. He just sucks on his fingers or sucks on his clothes all day long at the mo. try something cool to put in his mouth to sooth like those key toys with ice gel?
