TiredyCustards · 19/04/2013 17:55

Wowzers! I'm feeding my 2, who are 2 + 8m

5madthings · 19/04/2013 17:57

Wow well done! I tandem fed twice but two at once was enough for me!

twintwo · 19/04/2013 18:09

Well done to you, I fed ds1 for 12 months then ds2 and ds3( twins) for 3 years.

showtunesgirl · 19/04/2013 18:27

Branleuse? Hmm

Branleuse · 19/04/2013 18:36

what?

Branleuse · 19/04/2013 18:37

you have to admit That would be pretty cool

JollyJumpingJelly · 19/04/2013 18:42

Has the 6y/o lost any milk teeth? And did it affect their latch?
Do they feed together or all seperately?
Do they feed less the older they get or does it depend?
Are they having cows milk too (other than in other food) or just human milk for drinks?
Have you found they seem to get ill less than their peers?
Will they sleep without feeding?
Sorry having a curious moment Grin

EauRouge · 19/04/2013 18:43

Well, it would save time if you were feeding more than two but I bet it would be a bugger finding a bra that fits.

Branleuse · 19/04/2013 18:46

do you not spend all your time breastfeeding?

silvershine45 · 19/04/2013 19:17

i feed them separately find the time to bond really refreshing i love it am getting judged about it but am still staying strong my babies have had less illnesses than peers JollyJumpingJelly ill answer your other questions all of them still feed the same amount they have cows milk sometimes they do sleep without the breast milk sometimes they can get a bit grumpy

Brilliant, wish I was still feeding my 3 :(

silvershine45 · 19/04/2013 19:32

twintwo at first i thought i was going to bottle feed but changed my mind and considered breast feeding

SoulTrain · 19/04/2013 19:38

Why do you still do it for the older ones if you don't mind me asking?

twintwo · 19/04/2013 19:40

Sounds like you made right decision! I was told it would be difficult to feed twins, but found the complete opposite. I was very determined though and like a challenge! :)

silvershine45 · 19/04/2013 19:44

Soultrain i love breastfeeding and sharing the bond even with my oldest am weaning him off when he feels like he doesnt want to feed from me anymore x

well whatever floats your boat.
happy you're enjoying it.

EauRouge · 19/04/2013 20:31

I think it's lovely that you're letting him self-wean :)

NoWayPedro · 19/04/2013 21:18

Do you have to eat lots of calories? I know nutrition not super important for milk production for 1 but wondered about 4!?

midori1999 · 19/04/2013 21:28

Excellent, good for you OP! I want to ask if you're stick thin? Grin I hoped BF would help me lose weight, but it didn't, presumably as I am ravenous, pregnancy and nursing has lost me a bit of weight though, so I'm holding out hope for tandem nursing.... Blush

silvershine45 · 19/04/2013 22:28
