Recommendations for a chair or beanbag for nursing older baby please

My friend's baby is due any day now and I'd promised her my nursing chair, having optimistically assumed I would no longer be breastfeeding at least 6 times per night (DS is 9 months).

Although she won't mind not having it, it is better suited to a newborn and I find it hard to fit DS and his legs in between the arms. It's also too big for his room really.

Does anyone have any good ideas for alternatives to big, bulky chairs? I've tried feeding in banana shaped beanbags at playgroups and they were good, but not sure how comfy they'd be for extended periods in the night time? I could borrow an ikea Poang, but think that might also be too big.

No ideas sadly Judy but I'd be interested in any answers people might have.

We have a poang in the living room and found the arms get in the way, but might work well if you attach some kind of cushioning to them.

I used a directors chair as only had room for that once DD moved from our room to hers, but made cushioned pads for the arms, which made all the difference.
