Masters of breastfeeding lying down, come and help me please

DD2 is almost two weeks and is very unsettled at night so we are co-sleeping and feeding as often as she seems to need.
The problem is I am very uncomfortable feeding lying down but would like to in order to get more rest.
To get her on boob I need to lie at 45degrees and so end up twisted and achy. If I lie directly on my side my boob is too close to the mattress to get her on.
I've tried stuffing a pillow behind me but still get a sore neck and hips.
Any tips?

How large of nork are you? May make a difference to positions etc.

I found to feed from top boob you can kind of lean over the baby slightly and dangle the boob at them Blush I did always get sore hips and frequently sore neck, though.

Am wearing a 34E nursing bra. Top boob method is not so much about size for me but that the top nip faces the ceiling when I am lying on my side - would be pretty hard to get her on from there!

Tummy to tummy they say and I do the holding their head thing and tilting them bak to latch them on aswel mind you I got the hang of it with a bigger baby first time around wen he was older and then it came much easier with subsequent babies.

Does get easier as they get bigger but if I'm feeding from left breast I'd lie on left side, have my left arm under my pillow tucked out of the way and use my right hand to keep my breast in the right position. Sometimes all that means is pulling on the skin a little to stop my nipple disappearing under me Grin I have 34G boobs.
