this might seem like a stupid question Blush
but my dd2 has been exclusively bf till now an I am leaving her from 1pm till about 11pm.
how much EBM will she need?
how much would your baby drink in that time?
(she is trying a few tastes of solid food btw but no purees)
thanks Smile

There is a calculator on the Kelly mom site (I think that is right), that shows how much milk babies will be taking per feed, which might help her is the link:
\link{http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkcalc.html#calculator\here}

Hopefully you could work from this and then leave a bit extra just in case.

ds is just over 6 months and he is also on 3 meals a day and 3 bottles per day.
7/7.30am - 8 oz (Drinks 4 and 4 in cereal)
12.00pm - Lunch
2.30pm - He will only take 2/3oz
5.00pm - Dinner
6.30pm - He will only tak about 3/4oz

I have had to start giving him a top up at about 10pm again of 3/4oz to get him through the night as he will not take anymore during the day.
