I just bought a couple of cheapos from the supermarket for the first few weeks.

John Lewis told me 6 weeks minimum.

I stopped BF at 12 weeks and waited a couple of weeks but couldn't wait any longer as I was desperate to get rid of the nursing bras. My breasts (fairly large anyway) have been a lot less firm but the bras I chose fit for some time. DS is nearly one now and I'm finding they are now expanding again. Not sure if this is normal but it's the first change I've experienced.

I know this hasn't been posted on for a long time but this is a really useful thread! I stopped feeding my 2 yr old yesterday! Suffice to say, I am desperate to go bra shopping and couldn't find any other places that talk about how long you need to wait before buying new bras! Looks like I'll have to carrying on with the nursing bras for a few more weeks at least!
