Anyone else's hair fell out while on Cerazette?

And has anyone breastfed successfully on the combined pill?
DS is 14 months and the hair loss is just not stopping. If anything it's got even worse since starting on Cerazette four months ago. I find my hair everywhere, on the floor, in the shower, etc.
I'm desperate! I feel very self conscious about my scalp being visibile from a distance. I had thinning hair already but it's ten times worse now!
I'm quite desperate to go back on a combined low estrogen pill like before I had DS. I have ruled out other methods (Mirena and coil) for other reasons I won't go into here. I don't really want to rely on barrier methods plus the faff puts me off

Hair loss is normal after pregnancy. You grow extra hair whilst pregnant and then loose it once baby is born. Not sure how long that would last though. I would check with GP. I have the implant in arm, its great, never had periods even before pregnancy and you can still bf.

I'm on Cerazette. I think hair loss is one of the possible side effects that's listed on the blurb. Would you consider a different mini pill? Maybe you'd get on better with another one. Is there a nurse at your surgery that specialises in contraception? The one at my surgery was really helpful.

I'm on Cerazette and large clumps of my hair are falling out, however, DS is only 5 months old and my hair is like a mane it's very thick and so much of it since being pregnant so I'm hoping it will stop in its own time.

Well thank you all for your suggestions. I think I just don't get on well with progesterone only type of things. I've tried them all and I had to stop them for all sorts of reasons: acne, constant bleeding, now hairloss.
I did a search and found an old thread where someone says they're breastfeeding on a combined pill and supply dipped shortly then picked up again after a couple of days. Even better Tiktok joined in the discussion and said that this person's experience was quite typical, so if Tiktok says so I might give it a try!
