can u stop sterilising bottles at 12 months?

Dd will b 1 tomorrow Grin but I'm a bit unsure as when the guidelines say that it is safe to not sterilise anymore am I right in thinking it is 12 months?

I never bothered sterilising anything, things just went in the dishwasher, that get everything as clean as it needs to be.

HV told me 6 months as by then they are putting toys etc in their mouths.

Bottles 12 months - due to milk being dangerous breeding ground for bacteria.

Everything else - dummies, cups, tethers etc is 6 months
