Can't remember clearly dc2, but at 6wo dc3 is still at the boob out, multiple attempts to latch on even half decently, spit it out, start again stage. I can't therefore really go out except to friends/family as I don't fancy waving my nipple about for 5 minutes In public. Will she ever learn to do it herself? Im deeply envious of women I see whose babies are on the boob as soon as it is visible!

Took us a good 10 weeks before I could feed and not have boobs and nipples all over the place! One day it just clicked and now ds just latches on by himself even when I'm asleep at night!

Don't know but my 9 wk old still hasn't learned! I still take him out tho :)

My seven week old still requires about 10 gos to get on. She is my second EBF baby and I am also a bit daunted about public feeding due to boob waving. I try to take a giant muslin for draping.
