To those with experience of tandem nursing - did your second cluster feed?

Just wondering as my seven-day-old DS2 hasn't shown any interest in this...yet Wink. Not sure if it's just because we got off to a fairly slow start (had an earlier thread about this) or if perhaps feeding through pregnancy impacts early supply?

Not at 7 days no.

The only time you need to worry about stuff like that is if there is a not gaining enough weight or losing more than one would expect issue.

Are you offering lots?

I'm not tandem feeding yet, (pregnant and still nursing 21 month old DD) but DD never really cluster fed much at all.

I'm offering at every peep as he had lost more than the MWs were happy with at day three. Happily he had started to gain again by day six.

What I meant about bf'ing during pregnancy etc was not whether it would negatively impact supply but rather - would it make supply build faster? Or do you need to build the receptors again from the beginning? I'm very ignorant about the mechanics!
