Hi, I posted last week re dropping pre-bed feed for 11 month old ds :

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/breast_and_bottle_feeding/1694079-Reducing-from-two-bf-to-one-stopping-night-advice-please

So far it's going well in that he isn't distressed and is sleeping through the night but he won't take any milk at all pre bed ( still has X1 bf in the morning).

DH and I have tried expressed breast milk, formula & cows milk (not on the same night!) at various temperatures and he will not take it- spits it out but will take water so seems he's thirsty but doesn't like milk.. (fully used to and accepting of water in sippy cup)

He has cows milk with weetabix in morning, eats 3 meals a day plus snacks - eats a yoghurt and some cheese daily but I'm a bit worried he's not getting enough milk now. Is that all ok or if not any ideas?

Thanks

Both of mine wouldn't drink milk until I'd stopped bfing completely. If he's still having a bf in the morning, all of that dairy and is sleeping through I would worry. You could always give him things like sardines or salmon, which are both high in calcium or lots of things like cauliflower cheese, bread and butter pudding or even custard Smile
