Clicking noise and gulping air when feeding - 10 month old.

For the last couple of weeks, DD (10m) has started to make clicky/sucky noises when feeding. She's always had a rubbish latch, but it's causing her to gulp down big mouthfuls of air which is then giving her stomach cramps. Any suggestions how to stop her swallowing so much air?

My DD had this too and it turned out to be one of a number of symptoms of a tongue tie which was diagnosed and snipped this morning (although she is younger than your DD at 8 weeks). See www.ann-dobson.co.uk/tongue-tie_symptoms.html for further details.

I have also read on Kellymom that the clicking/seal breaking can be due to a fast let down so worth searching on that website for articles and solutions on it.
