Finally pain free after six months!

Just wanted to share as feeing positive! After six months of continuous pain it's now pain free to feed on both sides (for now)!

It has only taken:
4 tongue tie revisions with a great surgeon who did last one at six months without GA
2 cases of mastitis
CST
CO
Lots of thrush
A very supportive lactation consultant
Lots of tears
A good supply of Vaseline and jelonet
Lots of milk down the sink as she still won't drink out of a bottle
Numerous posts on mumsnet

Fingers crossed it stays pain free!

No teeth as of yet - burying head in sand that she will get them and cause pain again!

Funny we are talking about it since last posting she now has a tooth! One of her canine teeth is poking through! Just hoping she is covering her him ridge totally now!

I know the question above wasn't to me - but I had painful (undx tt) feeding til 5mths, and it took me til 10mths to start enjoying bf.

Yes I enjoying feeding now :)

Just in time to start weaning. Oh the irony!

We started baby led weaning a couple of weeks early to help her move her tongue more and think it helped her tongue movement as she was licking everything! She was also sitting up properly and trying to grab my food! But as a bottle refuser I feel we will be breast feeding for a good while yet.
