Baby is ebf. There's a gig we'd like to go to when baby will be 30 weeks old (ie 7 months). Would it be realistic to leave her with my parents for the evening at that age? Can anyone tell me how often she might need to breastfeed by then?
We're not going to introduce a bottle (currently she's 3.5 months old and we had such a struggle getting the latch sorted that I don't want to risk messing it up!)

Well I can't tell you for your baby cos they are all different, but at just over 4mths we made it out for the night while the inlaws babysat. He did take a bottle (when it suited them) and we left them a bottle of breast milk just in case, but I don't think they needed it. We were out around 3 1/2 to 4hrs. But DC was a routine feeder from the start and we had been able to rely on him going for 2 1/2-3hrs from the week after birth, so might take longer if you have a more frequent feeder. Even so, its over 2mths away, so I would be tempted to book it if I were you, and square the idea of having to give your ticket away with yourself if you find out at the time you can't make it.

I think you would be fine. A seven month old is a lot different to a three and a half month old. At seven months she will probably have started solids and she may be able to drink from a cup if not bottle. I used to leave expressed milk and if my baby really needed it he would drink. However, he preferred to wait for me and get it on tap! As long as she tops up with some good feeds in the day she should be all right.
